Community Snorkel Day

Saturday 9 March 2019, 12 noon to 4pm at Te Tapuwae o Rongokako Marine Reserve, Pouawa
Celebrate Seaweek with a family adventure to Te Tairawhiti Gisborne’s own fully protected marine reserve just past the Pouawa River Bridge, along SH35.
Explore our unique coastal environment in its natural, untouched state. Discover the biodiversity in this fully protected area.
– Welcome/Intro
– Adventure activities commence – Guided snorkelling, Marine Metre Square surveying, Toyota Kiwi Guardians adventure maps
FREE HIRE of snorkelling equipment, FREE Sausage sizzle, BYO picnic lunch.
All children are to be accompanied by an adult for all activities during this event.
If weather becomes an issue, tune into MoreFM on event day 8am for updates.
