MERC will be hosting our next seasonal community tidepool exploring event on Saturday 26th July
Take full advantage of this super low tide to find hidden sea creatures to photograph and add to our iNaturalist database, capturing the biodiversity in the Long Bay/Okura Marine Reserve this winter.
Compare results from previous Bioblitz events and explore differences in species prevalence and distribution on our rocky shore as seasons change. Then step on to the rocky shore with experienced MERC leaders to guide and educate about the environment and the creatures we find.
